TROY INDUSTRIES CUSTOMIZES M4 RIFLES FOR GRANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Granville, MA police department has never had rifle support with their patrols. That has now changed.

In 2007, the Granville Police Department purchased nine M4 rifles and requested that Troy Industries customize them with the Troy Close Quarters Battle Special Purpose Carbine A3 upgrade.

Eight of the nine customized rifles are equipped with the following:

• 16" Chrome-lined M4 barrels with 1/7 twist
• Troy MRF-CX Rail System
• Troy folding rear BattleSight
• Troy CQB sling attachement
• VLTOR Clubfoot six position stock
• Badger Ordnance Generation 2 TAC-LACH

The final M4 customized rifle was made specifically for the chief of police. The chief's M4 rifle is similar to the others but comes with a shorter, 7" barrel, a K3 flash suppressor and a Troy folding front BattleSight.
